Stop, Look and Listen

The following excerpt is from Tyberonn:

"You are conscious creatures, and what you focus on is energetically attracted to you. Therefore it is essential as you advance in wisdom to become the monitors & responsible guardians of your thoughts. You must be constantly aware of the contents of your conscious mind. The self awareness of recognizing the nature of your 'mental contents' is an essential aspect of becoming a fully conscious Spiritual Being."

The Master Turns Inward

The following excerpt is from Ronna Herman.  you can read more from this post here.
---

"The Soul, the physical vessel and particularly the mind have their own rhythmic cycles and agendas. The Soul’s desire is focused on becoming en-Lighten-ed. The mind is focused on attaining and retaining information. The physical body is focused on experiencing via the senses. Humanity is constantly experiencing cycles of growth, stagnation and decay, which makes way for a new cycle of growth and expansion. The master turns inward and strives for an enhanced quality of life, while the unawakened Souls seek outwardly for stimulus and gratification via pleasurable, physical sensation and material possessions. Love as an external focus, exterior to you, will always bring a sense of vulnerability, always needing constant validation by someone or something. Love as an internal focus projected outward is a constant flow of self-assurance, of self-acceptance, always striving to incorporate and project more of this blissful feeling of unity and harmony with all creation."

A Re-Reintroduction

Over the past several years, I have gone through numerous changes in perspective: perspective of myself, of the world, of reality, of what IS.

However, I have not, during that time, registered any thoughts or insights regarding such changes on this blog. In fact, if you scroll down you will find that I have only occasionally posted anything, and when I did it was inevitably a quote or excerpt from elsewhere.

This morning I spent an hour changing the appearance and layout of this blog, as well as it's sister blog (The Day Harry Sued God).

And, having done do, it appears that I have reinvigorated my penchant for expressing in this manner. I don't know whether this is yet another passing fancy, or whether I will find myself sharing my thoughts with you (my imaginary audience) on a regular basis.

But alas, it matters not. And that is one of the realizations of recent years that benefits me often and to no end. It truly matters not, and therefore I am free to choose: shall I, or shall I not?

Hmmm.

Perhaps I will write again soon. And perhaps I will not. But it will be my choice either way, and that choice will feel good.

For if anything truly matters, it is that one feel good.

But that is a discussion for another day. Or perhaps later today. Or after I shower.

Au reviour, mon ami.
